Marmalade Salon is an appointment-only hair salon in Oakland, California.

We are proud to be a clean-air space dedicated to offering the best in low-tox beauty. All of the products we use and sell in the salon are free of endocrine disruptors like synthetic fragrances, aerosols, formaldehyde, silicones and parabens. Our color line is free from ammonia, PPD, and resorcinol—and is organic, vegan, and gluten-free. All of our products are made with sustainably sourced ingredients and most are packaged in sustainable materials such as glass, aluminum, or post-consumer recycled plastics.

We strive to create a welcoming, relaxing environment for all. Our space is intentionally designed for calm, focused care—and for safety reasons, we use tools and products that aren’t suitable for little ones. Unless they have an appointment, we kindly ask that children not accompany you to your visit. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a peaceful experience for everyone.
